When I moved in I had nothing but the clothes on my back (and a few in a bag) and a few bits and pieces like an iPod, my phone and a couple of books. Now I am in the room I decided it was probably time I bought the things that I needed. I needed a duvet, a good pillow, maybe a bin and a laundry basket before picking out other bits and pieces to liven up my room and make it a little bit more like my own.
I have not got any decorations yet – outside of one little figure there’s nothing really “me” about the room just yet. But I did manage to get the essential things that I need; some coat hangers (even though one is already broken), a massive duvet and a memory foam pillow (which I need to leave out for a few days to breath apparently) and my laundry basket is a fancy one that can hang on the door or can stand on its own on the floor.
