Christmas is obviously a great time to get good deals on Christmas presents. It is a time when shops want to capitalise on Christmas and ensure people are buying as much as possible. However, it is also a time when you will be able to get some really good deals. If there is something that you have been saving up for, it could be the case that it will be the cheapest right around Christmas.

Look out for sales in shops and sign up to promotional emails, as these will give you lots of warning that sales are coming up. Just make sure you don’t buy anything that is on your Christmas list, or you could have some very unhappy people who have bought you gifts!

There are also good sales after Christmas, which could be a safer bet as you will know what you have got for Christmas. They start from Boxing Day onwards.
